ABOUT THE MAIN HOST
A first-generation hunter with only 5 seasons of waterfowl hunting under his belt when Savage Pursuit started; with every hunt, Kaleb is learning something new.

Growing up together, Kaleb and Hazen’s favourite pastime since the age of 5 was to spend hours playing outdoors pretending to be hunters. Using anything at their disposal - old hockey sticks, tree branches, car jacks- as their rifles, spears, or shotguns. This imprinted on Kaleb’s mind that the outdoors, hunting and adventuring were always going to be where he preferred spending his time.

As a child, Kaleb's father once tried to teach him to enjoy fishing, but that just wasn't fast-paced enough for him. Now an adult with a background in hunting big game, he soon discovered waterfowl hunting. That’s when he knew everything else would take a backseat.
It's not all about the kill with Kaleb. For him, it's about the experience of the outdoors and being able to enjoy it with friends

ABOUT THE HOST
COLTON MELNYK
Colton has been waterfowl hunting since he turned 18. After a decade of hard work and discipline, he has the knowledge and skills to rival a master waterfowl guide. And he's entirely self taught.
Colton has a passion and drive for hunting that is nearly unmatched. But his main concern in the field is never the glory of the shot. It's the people he is hunting with.Over and over again when a hunt seems to be going bad, he's never mad about missing out on the birds. His focus is about making sure the people he's with are having a good time and are taken care of.
In the off seasons, Colton has undertaken the task of training his own hunting dogs. He hopes to be able to use them more in the coming seasons.
Remi (male) is half chocolate lab, half german short haired pointer. Nelli (female) is a purebred german short haired pointer.
ABOUT THE HOST
HAZEN NICHOLS
For Hazen, the outdoors and the skills that come along with it are
almost inherited at birth. Coming from a multigenerational hunting family, most of the men in his family are hunters.

Growing up with a father who was an avid hunter, Hazen spent his youth seeing many animals up close in person. This instilled a long-lasting appreciation for their beauty that has lasted to this day. Now a dedicated family man, Hazen looks forward to when he can bring his two sons out hunting with him.
​
Although he is likely the most "outdoorsman" of the 3 hosts, he is also the least likely to act like he knows it. He is always the first to crack a joke and let out one of his trademark laughs for everyone to enjoy. They can always count on his sense of humour and shenanigans to lighten the mood and add to the fun of each hunt.
